LSACTS is an advisory body composed of practicing Land Surveyors who provide opinions and issue “white papers” on a variety of land surveying issues.

There are various organizations that provide a vital role in the Land Surveying community. Each serves a separate function and all make important contributions to the Land Surveying profession. By the very nature of Land Surveying research, these organizations can provide valuable input to the research and value of survey evidence.

The California Land Surveyors Association

CLSA advances the interests of the profession of Land Surveying, to maintain the highest possible standards of professional ethics and practice, to encourage uniformity of practices and procedures, and foster public faith in and understanding of Land Surveyors and their work.

National Society of Professional Surveyors

NSPS provides the platform by which members can share their thoughts and opinions about our common interests through business meetings/committees, regional groups, and student chapters. It also provides a forum for input from other groups such as the National Association of County Surveyors, members of state boards of registration, and the Forum for State Surveying Society Executives.

The League of California Cities

The League of California Cities is an association of California city officials who work together to enhance their knowledge and skills, exchange information, and combine resources so that they may influence policy decisions that affect cities.
