The County Surveyor provides services to the public and various governmental agencies. Ensures that mandated functions, such as review of final maps, parcel maps, records of survey, corner records, certificates of correction and legal descriptions are in conformance with state and local ordinances. The division reviews and inspects private land development plans to ensure that construction activities are in compliance with state and local ordinances and conditions of the project. Erosion control inspections are also a part of this division. Coordinates physical addressing system for the County and 911 system. Represents the Public Works Department at the Technical Advisory meetings and the Planning Commission meetings with regard to conditions as set for private land development and use. |
