The Surveying Services section of the Engineering Services Division reviews and organizes land surveying documents that deal with land in the County of Napa.
These documents include records of survey, parcel maps and final maps, certificates of correction and lot line adjustments. The goal is to ensure compliance with applicable State laws and County codes governing the practice of land surveying, encourage local professionals to use good surveying practices, and provide boundary and land-based information to the public.
Other tasks include the review of proposed annexations for local municipalities and special districts, for conformance to the standards by the State Board of Equalization. |
